SBSE is a solvent-free extraction technique, which is significantly faster than most conventional extraction techniques. Fully Automated SBSE for Reliable Trace Analysis
SBSE using the GERSTEL Twister® is already known for its exceptional sensitivity and solvent free operation. Its large sorbent volume enables solvent free enrichment of analytes from liquid or gaseous samples, making it ideal for trace analysis. The reusable, glass coated magnetic stir bar with an adsorbent layer is placed in the sample and stirred to extract target compounds. After enrichment, it is removed, dried, and placed in a thermal desorption tube for TDU 2 analysis.
The AutoTwister takes this technology one step further by providing seamless automation, enabling consistent results across large sample series while significantly reducing analyst workload.
