The Frontier Lab EGA/PY-3030D combines Evolved Gas Analysis (EGA), Pyrolysis GC/MS, Reactive Pyrolysis and Thermal Desorption in one versatile system. Researchers can rapidly identify polymers, additives, contaminants, VOCs and degradation products from virtually any liquid or solid sample with minimal sample preparation. The system delivers highly reproducible results through its patented vertical micro-furnace design and temperature control accuracy of ±0.1°C.

One Pyrolyzer Platform for multiple thermal analysis techniques

The Frontier Lab EGA/PY-3030D is built around a patented vertical micro furnace that enables rapid heating and cooling while maintaining exceptional thermal control. Users can switch between analytical modes simply by changing the sampler configuration. The system supports Evolved Gas Analysis (EGA), Single-Shot Pyrolysis, Reactive Pyrolysis, Multi-Step Thermal Desorption, Double-Shot Analysis and Heart-Cut EGA for targeted characterization of thermal zones.

With dedicated accessories, the platform can also perform UV irradiation studies, high-pressure reaction chemistry and sorbent tube desorption. Compatible with major GC and GC/MS systems, the EGA/PY-3030D offers a flexible solution for polymer characterization, additive analysis, microplastics analysis, contamination studies and VOC profiling.
