OI Analytical 4100 Water/Soil Sample Processor

Applications

The 4100 Water/Soil Sample Processor automates sample preparation for volatile organic compound (VOC) analysis in:

• Drinking water
• Wastewater
• Soil samples

The system processes samples contained in 40 mL VOA vials and is designed for compliance with U.S. EPA methods and international standards for purge-and-trap VOC analysis.

Water Sample Processing

Water samples are automatically lifted to the sampling station where a probe aspirates the sample and fills a sample loop for transfer to the purge-and-trap system. 
 

Soil Sample Processing

Soil samples are processed directly in the vial. The system injects clean or spiked water, heats and stirs the sample, purges VOCs from the matrix and transfers them to the trap.
