QC Silicones lab boosts efficiency with gas generators
Anticipating a growing sample throughput, the QC laboratory at BRB International in Ittervoort has expanded its capacity with a second GC. As part of this expansion, the laboratory’s gas supply system was upgraded, resulting in a significant improvement in operational efficiency. Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions fulfilled all additional gas requirements by supplying LNI Swissgas Gas Generators combined with a custom tubing system.
Read the latest edition of LabVision to discover how Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions successfully fulfilled this custom gas supply upgrade to support of BRB International’s GC expansion.
Centralized tubing system
To further increase efficiency, Da Vinci installed a centralized tubing system, branching from the gas generators to multiple instruments. The generators supply hydrogen and zero air to both GCs, while nitrogen is distributed to the GCs and the nearby fume hood via an additional branch.
