Introducing the Da Vinci LS Secondary Oven

At RIVA 2026 ISCC, Martijn van Raalte, the CEO of Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions, proudly unveiled this latest GC innovation. We’re proud to reach another major milestone that showcases our innovation and dedication, and excited to share this with the global GC and GC×GC community.

Perform dual analysis simultaneously

The DaVinci LS Secondary Oven is a temperature programmable auxiliary oven for the Agilent 8890 GC. It enables laboratories to perform multiple GC analyses simultaneously, eliminating the need to invest in an additional GC system and software license. 

Fully integrated into the Agilent 8890 GC workflow, the Secondary Oven is controlled directly through the Agilent GC. Data from both the primary GC and the Secondary Oven are automatically combined into a single data file, simplifying operation and data handling.

The Secondary Oven is a full-sized GC oven with versatile configuration options: it can be connected to the Agilent 8890 GC via a transfer line, or equipped with its own inlet and/or detector without the need for additional transfer lines.

The Da Vinci LS Secondary Oven offers:

• Dual analysis capability for performing simultaneous analyses
• Independent temperature programming through the primary GC oven
• Full integration of system parameters and data files in only one method
• Versatile configuration options include MSD, LSV or ALS, inlet, detector, transfer line and methanizer
