Delpharm QC lab enhances flexibility with a second GC system

Growing demand for GC analyses led the QC laboratory at Delpharm in Bladel to invest in a second Agilent 8890 GC. As Delpharm's service partner, Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions provided installation, qualification and hands-on training to support the implementation, helping the laboratory increase flexibility while strengthening in-house expertise.

As a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), Delpharm produces around 150 different pharmaceutical formulations annually, requiring a wide variety of analytical methods. The second GC enables the laboratory to manage workloads more efficiently while creating room for future growth.

GC user and maintenance training

In addition to instrument installation and validation, eight analysts participated in a customized GC training programme delivered by Da Vinci LS. Combining theory with practical troubleshooting, the training was tailored to Delpharm's own instruments and applications. This enabled the team to further strengthen its internal expertise and reduce dependence on external support for routine troubleshooting.
