Separation Science Group Recognised with Prestigious RSC Award

We are proud to share that the Separation Science Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has received the RSC’s Inspirational Committee Award. This recognition highlights their success in bringing together Interest Groups, related networks and societies to cover the breadth of analytical chemistry as part of the Solutions in Science (SinS) meetings.

Dr Kathy Ridgway BSc CChem MRSC, Application Chemist at Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions UK & Ireland, is a valued member of this award winning group. We want to congratulate her and the complete group on this achievement and thank them for their dedicated contribution to the Separation Science Group.

This highly regarded prize honours the outstanding achievements of the Separation Science Group committee, whose leadership and dedication have helped establish the Solutions in Science (SinS) meetings as a leading interdisciplinary platform within analytical chemistry.

The Separation Science Group is the largest network serving the separation science community across the UK and Ireland. Its work spans:

• Promoting best practice and new developments in analytical science
• Organising national and international scientific meetings
• Supporting students and early-career researchers through bursaries and awards
• Encouraging collaboration between academia and industry

Through initiatives such as SinS, the committee has successfully brought together multiple interest groups and scientific communities, creating a unique space for cross-disciplinary exchange and innovation.
