Advice on valves for your chromatography system
In addition to the valves we also supply the required accessories, such as the nuts and ferrules, the rotor seals, Sample Loops, but also heated valveblocks, position feedbacks and Purge Housings, for example.
Replacement parts such as Actuator (both air and electric), stator, valve body and various tools are also available at Da Vinci.
Two position valves
The 2 position valves are available in the versions with 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 ports. These vary from the standard sample injection valves to extensive column switching valves or a combination of these.
Click here for more information about the different applications for the 2-position valves.
Multi position valves
Next to a high and low pressure version, the multi position valves are available in different versions for different applications. The possible options are:
- Common outlet
- Trapping flow-through
- Both ends selected
Click here for more information about the multi-position valves.
In addition to the 2-position and the multi-position selection valves based on the principle of a rotating rotor (Rotery Valve), more valves are available, for example:
- Diaphragma valves
- Micro valves for LC and GC
- Needle valves
- On / Off valves
- Purge / Prime valves
- Mininert valves
- Ultra high pressure valves
Materials of the valves
The valves are available in many different materials, which are suitable for different pressures, temperatures and chemical resistance. As a result, a suitable valve is available for both gas and liquid applications that can also easily be connected to HPLC, UPLC and GC Systems, as a column switching valve or injection valve.
The materials for the valve body include:
- SS316, Hastelloy C-22
- Inconel 600
- Monel 400
- Nitronic 50
In addition, we also offer the Cheminert valves from VICI that can also be equipped in PEAK and PPS. The Swagelok open/close and 2/3 way valves are available in SS316 and Brass. Metal valves and polymer valves are also possible.
The materials for the Rotor Seals are designated Valcon in types E, E2, E5, H, M, P, R, T, TFE and X.
